Now based in Lugano, Jachen Könz originally stems from Ardez in the Engadin region. One of his most important projects was built in Zuoz: the Mariöl housing development. The sculptural concrete building has window apertures and excavations that appear as if incised with a scalpel. The kindergarten in Morbio Inferiore was completed in 2018.
