Refusing to compromise his principles and sickened by the downward spiral that Clinton was experiencing, he retired less than 10 1/2 months before the first successful escape at Dannemora on June 6, 2015. AUTHOR: Michael H. Blaine grew up on his family's farm in Peru, New York. He left behind his work on the farm and at the local mill to pursue a career in the New York State prison system as a Corrections Officer. He eventually earned the ranks of Sergeant and Lieutenant. At the same time, he rose to become one of the USA's premier performing Hypnotists. As an author, he documents his experiences within the New York State prison system.
