Not to mention the bald doctors who always turn up at the scene of a death. That s when Ralph begins to lose a lot more than sleep. When he begins to understand why his hitherto mild-mannered friend, Ed, is getting out of control dangerously so. And why his home town is about to become the new Armageddon...

Another fantastic story by the master of suspense.
Insomnia is an epic, and while at times the 760 page story does drag a bit, it is still a fantastic story. From little bald doctors, to brilliant auras this book has it all. I also noticed that this book ties in heavily to King's famous Dark Tower series, which will be my next task of his to conquer.
Although long, the story was touching and suspenseful, full of characters you love and love to hate. The breaking of archetypes was also refreshing, it's not often the main characters of a novel like this are elderly people.
Once again another great read with a heart-warming ending, would definitely recommend. - Sean (QBD)
