This book is a revealing, moving and inspirational account of RT Kendall's eventful and occasionally turbulent 25-year ministry in the United Kingdom. In it, he talks frankly about both the blessings and the disappointments he has experienced in that time. These include his relationship with one of his predecessors, the great Dr Martyn Lloyd-Jones, and the pressures he faced in following such a famous name.
He also writes about some of the more controversial changes he introduced to life at the Chapel, which in one instance brought him into such conflict with some members of the church that he was almost forced to leave the Chapel. The book also includes a substantial section in which RT explains some of the most significant theological lessons and principles he has learnt and taught.
Above all, this story is a testament to God's grace and majesty. One of the most important lessons RT has learned from his time at Westminster Chapel is that, whatever dreams we dream, or deeds we do, they are worth nothing if not ultimately directed to God's glory.
