Itand#39;s the summer of 1963 and JJ Green is a born songwriter which is sort of a real shame considering that her family is constantly insisting that she think more andquot;practicallyandquot; about her future (i.e., lawyer). She secretly takes an internship at the Brill Building, the epicenter of a new sound called rock and roll. and#160; JJ is finally living her dream. She found herself a summer fling (and writing partner), and it looks like they might be cutting their first demo with Dulcie Brown, a legendary former nightclub singer, who now works at the Brill Building. But Dulcie's past holds some very dark secrets, and when things take a dark turn JJ must untangle a sinister web of hidden identities and dark secrets before it snares her too.
