This book has incredible messages woven throughout its magnificent, important story. Amanda Hardy has moved to a new town to live with her father due to relentless bullying at her previous school. This diverse and heart-warming novel is not only about a transgender girl written by a transgender woman, but it's also guaranteed to grip you from the very first page. - Holly (QBD)

This incredible story delves into the life and experiences of Amanda Hardy, a transgender girl. Amanda is the new girl at school, and she is very excited to be starting somewhere with a clean slate, somewhere where nobody is aware of her past.
Personally, this book was a huge eye-opener for me. I have read a lot of young adult LGBTIQ books; but none of them have given me a learning experience quite as much as this one. The author, Meredith Russo, is also a transgender woman, so that in itself makes the story all the more educational.
This is a powerful book on a powerful topic, and I recommend it to absolutely everyone. I loved it! - Holly (QBD)
