Milo the monkey is sad because his mommy has left to go on a trip, and he misses her. Could his friends at school help him feel better?
Milo the monkey is sad. His mommy has to take a trip, and he really misses her. Even being at school with everyone he knows doesn't help. His friends join in singing and dancing with the teacher for music class, but Milo doesn't want to dance and sing. His friends all play with toys and blocks and games during free time, but Milo doesn't want to play. His teacher, Mrs. Zebra, asks if she can help, but Milo tells her that only Mommy can make him feel better. Then Mrs. Zebra has an idea for how to cheer up Milo. Could it work? An ideal way to introduce children to strong emotions and how to recognize and handle them.
