Once at Athenry, Lara watches helplessly as the Baron's men lead Dannsair in through the heavy stone walls that surround the town. She is desperate to remain close to her beloved filly, but has no way to get past the guards that preside over every gate. Then she is mistaken for a boy, and sees her chance -- only to discover that Dannsair is behind yet another set of walls. Now Lara must find shelter and food, as well as a way past the gruff stable master. The challenges are overwhelming, but Lara has come too far to give up hope now...
