When cops are convicted of crimes and sent to regular prisons, they're likely to be maimed or killed by other inmates. In wealthy Nassau County, there's another solution. Send the rogue cops to the Honor Farm, a Long Island prison just for cops, where the policemen who have gone bad can rot with the rest of their kind.
Orin Boyd, hardworking detective always in trouble with his bosses, who was introduced in 'Exit Wounds' is sent to the Honor Farm on an undercover mission. He's got to go into that zooful of cops and not only survive but conduct effective investigation into the apparent suicide of the police commissioner's son (who's an inmate). The suicide is actually murder, the killing of rogue cops continues, and Orin is the next target.
