A book of canine courage published in association with Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and Cruft's ?Friends for Life'. Amongst the stories are that of Gander, the Newfoundland mascot of the Royal Rifles of Canada who received a posthumous award for saving the lives of Candian infantrymen during the Battle of Lye Mun, Hong Kong in 1941. Echo, the search and rescue dog who has worked in Haiti; and the TEAM dog specially trained to work with congenitally deaf child and her family.
