- How do I order a Gift Voucher online?
To order a voucher, simply click on the word 'Vouchers' on the QBD Homepage menu (located underneath the search bar).
Select what type of voucher you would like - either electronic or physical.
Fill out the voucher fields - sender details, message, recipient details & voucher value.
Click the add to cart button, and you're ready to proceed to checkout!
Electronic Gift Vouchers
These are digital vouchers that are emailed directly to your recipient's email.
Our electronic vouchers are fully automated. Please provide your mobile number and an SMS containing an activation link will be sent soon after the voucher is ordered. Clicking this link will take you to an activation page to trigger the email voucher to send!
If no valid phone number has been entered, your voucher will not dispatch as intended.
If you are unable to receive the SMS, please contact us so that we can manually activate it for you.
If you have confirmed the order via SMS and have not received your voucher by the next business day, please contact us.
Physical vouchers
These are vouchers that are printed and delivered to your recipient through Australia Post.
All physical gift vouchers require a manual process. These are done on the same day as they are purchased, Monday-Friday during opening hours or on Monday morning if done over the weekend.
Physical vouchers are sent via untracked letter post. Australia Post advises to allow up to two business weeks for delivery.
If you have ordered a physical gift voucher that has not arrived after this time, please contact us for assistance.
Things to note:
If you are purchasing more than 1 gift voucher, repeat this process as many times as needed; and then proceed to checkout.
Please do not purchase an electronic and a physical gift voucher on the same order. This will result in an error with your physical gift card dispatching.
If you would like to purchase a gift voucher and other products, you can leave this page to add other items to your cart. Please note that the gift voucher will be sent separately.
Electronic Gift Vouchers are sent as a PDF attachment to an email. This can sometimes cause problems with education or business email addresses, as your school or workplace can have filters that prevent email attachments from external sources.
QBD Gift Vouchers cannot be purchased via Afterpay, ZipPay, or any other third party incremental payment system.
The purchase of a gift voucher will accrue VIP Credit for VIP Members, but the use of a gift voucher as payment will not accrue credit.
All gift vouchers are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase.

- How do I use a Gift Voucher online?
To place an order online using a QBD gift voucher please select 'Voucher' in the payment menu while checking out and enter the below information.
The Gift Voucher Number (GV Number): located underneath the barcode (case sensitive).
The PIN: 4 digit code printed above the barcode.
You can then continue to the next checkout window to place your order.

- Terms and Conditions of QBD Books Gift Vouchers
This voucher is for the supply of goods only.
Vouchers are not redeemable for cash.
Vouchers can be redeemed in any QBD Books store or online at www.qbd.com.au.
QBD Books are not liable for lost, stolen or damaged gift vouchers. Vouchers cannot be reissued or replaced.
Vouchers are valid for 36 months from date of purchase.
No change will be issued on this voucher.
Vouchers are void once expired.
