Standard Delivery
QBD Books offer $8.95 flat rate delivery Australia wide!
QBD Books Gold VIP Members receive free standard delivery postage year-round when their card is joined to their online account.
Express Delivery
QBD Books offers express delivery via Australia Post or other premium delivery partners.
Express delivery is charged based on the weight and destination of the item. Shipping fees for express delivery will be calculated in the cart during the checkout process.
To select express delivery, add items to your cart, click the secure checkout button, and enter your address. Then select express delivery in the dropdown menu under shipping method.
The weight of the products in your cart will be calculated along with your delivery destination and the fee for express delivery will display. Please note that there is a 22kg weight limit for express delivery parcels.
Please note that this option may not be available for every product, and that Express Delivery does not impact or fast track the dispatch period for your order.
QBD Local
QBD Local will use Couriers Please to deliver goods direct from a local store to the customer's home, provided that the goods are available in their local store/s.
The QBD Local service is available at the shipping price of $8.95.
This service is only available to addresses within range of our store locations, and only on products that are currently in sufficient stock at your local store.
Visit our QBD Local page to verify if your address is eligible for this option.
Click and Collect
You can order to collect in-store for any of our store locations, provided the store has sufficient stock available. There is no additional fee for this service.

- Delivery Turnaround
We have a wide range of titles stocked in our warehouse, however some titles are sourced directly from our suppliers!
Your order’s delivery is dependant on two factors:
The time it takes to receive and pack your order for dispatch at our distribution centre.
AND
The time it takes for your order to ship with the courier and deliver to you.
Once we receive your order, we verify the details and prepare your item/s before we dispatch them from our main dispatch in Brisbane, QLD.
Each product page on the web site includes an estimated delivery date for Standard Delivery. You can find this to the right of the screen just under the add to cart button. This range is an estimate based on the usual shipping timeframes given by our shipping partners, and your location.
In addition to the estimated delivery date range, on the product page you will find how long an item will take to be dispatched estimated in business days.
Dispatches in 1-3 days – In stock at our warehouse.
Dispatches in 4-6 days – sourced directly from our suppliers.
Dispatches in 10-14 days – sourced directly from our suppliers.
Pre-Order – Dispatches after the release date listed. Please note that all other items in your cart will dispatch after the pre-order title is released.
All our estimates are based on business days and assume that shipping and delivery don't occur on holidays and weekends.
Final estimated dates of delivery will come from the tracking number via our shipping partners once the order has dispatched.
- Where is my parcel?
Once an item has been dispatched, it is in the care of our shipping partners for delivery. You will receive a dispatch email from QBD when your parcel has left us, once it is scanned through our shipping partners’ facility they will send you an email with tracking information!
All QBD Books parcels are sent with a tracking number.
If your order has been sent via Australia Post and you have encountered an error with your delivery, please contact us and start an inquiry with Australia Post using your tracking number.
Please keep in mind that Australia Post will not retain tracking information after 60 days from the date of dispatch, and that parcels are often diverted to your local post office if they could not safely be left at your address.
Likewise, couriers may divert your parcel to a local drop point, such as a newsagent, if they are unable to safely deliver your parcel.
If your order has been sent via couriers and you have encountered an error with your delivery, please start a contact form with couriers using your tracking number and then contact us for further assistance.
Please contact us as soon as possible if your item does not arrive within 14 business days from dispatch.
In the unlikely case that a parcel becomes "lost" in transit, we will have to launch an investigation with our shipping partners to ascertain what has gone wrong.
If your item is returned to us as return to sender, you will be notified, and a full refund will be provided by our customer service team. We will not resend these parcels.
- QBD Books Shipping Partners
Australia Post
QBD Books will dispatch via Australia Post from our main dispatch within the Brisbane, QLD area.
QBD Books Physical Gift Vouchers are dispatched via Australia Post untracked letter post from our main dispatch.
Australia Post parcels are sent from our dispatch centre daily and include untracked letter, standard, and express delivery. Please note that Australia Post will take your parcel to your local post office for collection if you are not home for the delivery.
Delivery Partners
QBD Books will dispatch via couriers for QBD Local delivery, for quick delivery from your local store.
From time to time, other online orders may also be dispatched from local stores via couriers in an effort to get your order to you as quickly as possible.
Please note that couriers will deliver to a local drop off point, such as a news agent, if they are unable to safely leave your parcel at your address.
- Do I Have To Pay For Shipping?QBD Books offer $8.95 flat rate delivery Australia wide!
From March 9 2023, QBD Books will be introducing a $8.95 postage fee on all orders. This is to combat rising postage prices in Australia over the last 12 months, while still providing customers with great value products at some of the lowest prices online.
QBD Books Gold VIP members still get free postage year-round when their card is joined to their online account.
From time to time, QBD Books may run Free Postage offers. Keep your eye out for these great deals! - Do You Offer International Shipping?
QBD Books currently do not offer international postage.
- My Parcel Never ArrivedWe're sorry to hear that you haven’t yet received your parcel.
Please be sure to check your tracking number for shipping updates. You can find this in your dispatch notification email.
If the tracking number is listed as delivered and you have not received it, please contact us.
Usually these parcels will be waiting for pickup at your nearest Post Office, if no one is home to sign for the item, the carrier will leave a card to let the customer know which retail outlet they can collect their parcel.
Please contact us as soon as possible if your item does not arrive within 3 weeks of dispatch.
In the unlikely case that a parcel becomes "lost" in transit - we will have to launch an investigation with our Courier company to ascertain what has gone wrong.
Please contact us as soon as possible if your item does not arrive within 3 weeks of dispatch.
Items Returned To QBD Books “Return To Sender”
If your item is returned to us as return to sender by our couriers, you will be notified, and a full refund will be provided by our customer service team. We will not resend these parcels.
