Heather Hurley has been there and done that. When she left her claustrophobic life in small-town New Jersey for the coast, she never figured her dreams of money and fame would land her in a sleazy strip-joint, but on the other hand, why not? The money is fantastic, men are just there to be used anyway, and she certainly looks and dresses better than all her old friends back on the east coast.
It's not until Heather meets a kind of quirky guy on a motorcycle that she starts to question all her old assumptions. She's not even sure why she gives him the time of day - after all, he's not exactly a hardbody, which is usually the only sort she'll go out with, he doesn't seem to have a lot of money, and worst of all, he sees right through her cold-hearted bitch act in which even she was beginning to believe. Then he turns out to be God. Bummer.
Over the course of their relationship though, Heather is given six spiritual laws to live by and as she learns to listen to her heart, love herself, and trust her own feelings, she undergoes a moral and physical transformation that offers hope to all women.
