Health Issues: Body Image

Body image is a product of our minds and our imaginations, rather than a "fact". A person with a positive body image is likely to feel good about themselves and care for themselves in a healthy way. But many people have a negative body image, at least some of the time. This book explores where ideas about body image come from, and how body image affects lifestyle and health, particularly for teenagers.
