Life was always getting in the way of Phil Robertson's passion for duck hunting. He grew up with the dream of living the simple life off the land like his forebears, but he soon found himself on a path to self-destruction; leasing a bar, drinking all the time, fighting and wasting his talents. He almost lost it all until he gave his life to God. And with that everything changed. Soon after, he invented he invented a duck call that helped transform his life and the lives of his family.
Phil's life story is structured around Rules for Living the Happy, Happy, Happy Life, such as: 'Don't let your kids grow up to be nerds,' 'Put the bottle down (you'll thank me in the morning),' 'Never sell yourself short (you might become a millionaire)' and 'It's cheaper to hire your relatives (unless you don't like them).' With the love of his country, his family and his maker, Phil has finally found the ingredients to the 'happy, happy, happy' life he always wanted. -
