When Amelia wakes up early on her birthday, she excitedly expects lots of presents and attention from her family and Angus the dog. However, it would appear as if everyone has forgotten her, including her mother and father who are busy doing other things. Amelia is devastated and feels very rejected. She decides to make the best of it by doing her chores. In the hen house, she discover an envelope with her name on it, which leads her to other envelopes like a treasure hunt. At the end of the trail she discovers a wonderful surprise and celebrates until bedtime.
