Life seems to be on the up for Hap and Leonard when Leonard is left $100,00, a house and its contents by an uncle he's been estranged from for years. Perhaps, after all this time, Uncle Chester had got used to the idea that his nephew was gay. But when Leonard and Hap move in to repair the house, they discover the contents include something they didn't expect, and certainly didn't want to find: the skeleton of a child, hidden in a trunk underneath the floorboards . . .
