First broadcast in 1959 as part of Tony Hancock's 4th BBC TV Series. The master recording tapes were then subsequently wiped as was routine for many TV and Radio broadcasts right up until the late 70's. Fortunately fans made their own off air copies by a variety of methods including hot wiring their TV sets to reel to reel recorders.
