When a woman is found brutally murdered in her apartment, sadly, it's another day on the job for prosecutor Rusty Sabich. When that woman turns out to be a colleague, things start looking grim, and when that woman, Carolyn Polhemus, is identified as Rusty's lover, things become downright complicated.
