2009 is the 60th Anniversary of the Ray Galton & Alan Simpson writing partnership that brought us the immortal Hancock‚ Steptoe & Son‚ several hit films and three TV series of their own.
To celebrate the writers' 60th Anniversary BBC Radio 2 are broadcasting 4 x 30 minutes of their TV Comedy playhouse scripts that have been updated for 2009 - and with a fistful of stars.
