Ernie Elf receives a letter addressed to Father Christmas from Larry Louse, and is confused . . . why is he receiving mail for Father Christmas? So, rather than disappoint Larry by returning the letter, he kindly goes to see him to explain the situation. However, things don't go according to plan, and soon, Ernie's mailbox is overflowing with even more mail!
The whole garden believes Ernie Elf is Father Christmas and is sending him their requests for presents! But Ernie doesn't want to be Father Christmas, he doesn't even believe in Father Christmas!
However, Ernie soon begins to enjoy all the attention, and rather than disappoint his friends in the garden, he decides to deliver the presents himself on Christmas Eve. But the real surprise is yet to come, and even Ernie starts to believe in the real magic of Christmas!
