This readily-accessible, highly focused, teach yourself book will allow trainees and teachers to work at their own pace, in their own time, to reach a level of competence where they can teach French in the primary classroom with confidence.Each of the 20 chapters will cover language and structures suitable to the primary context, with additional and more complex language to enable teachers to challenge pupils of higher ability or those identified as ‘gifted and talented’. They will include core vocabulary and grammatical structures, with an easy-to-follow explanation of the rules (and exceptions) and will include exercises and activities with a four-skill approach. In addition, there will be cultural information, an alphabetical listing of vocabulary and a grammar glossary/summary. The pack will include 2 75-minute CDs with two native speakers engaging in conversations/role play and providing a pronunciation guide for individual topic banks.
