Rita Nightingale thought life was going well when her wealthy boyfriend put her on a plane from Hong Kong to Paris to meet him for a romantic holiday. When her luggage was searched at her stop-over in Bangkok, heroin was found in her luggage. Rita's world collapsed as she was thrown into jail and sentenced to 20 years' imprisonment.
This is the amazing story of a young woman's experience of a Thai jail, as she faced years of deprivation and separation from her family. Rita was bitter and angry at her unjust treatment.
