A touching story about a young part-Aboriginal girl's search for her identity & discovering the truth behind her father's unsettling past. Kes is facing the unthinkable. As a bushfire threatens her family's lives and their homes and wipes out their cattle, they will have to abandon the mountain property of Kes' great grandparents.
