Family Life In Ancient Egypt

Family life was very important to the ancient Egyptians. Crafts and skills were passed down from fathers to sons, and from mothers to daughters. Religion played an important part in the family and social lives of the ancient Egyptians. Even their gods and goddesses were represented as family groups made up of mother, father and child. Ancient Egyptians had to behave well during their lifetimes, as they would have to explain themselves in the next world. Archaeologists found many treasures which gave us valuable clues about what life was like for families in ancient Egypt.
