Written in French, this highly illustrated book tells the story of the "Corridor of Death" and the escape from the Falaise pocket in August 1944. Many thousands died on both sides of the fighting but half the German forces finally manged to escape. The narrative is accompanied by numerous photographs and personal accounts from veterans of the fighting.
