For many organizations email is the business-critical communications technology. Organizations which use Microsoft server technologies frequently use Microsoft Exchange as an email server. Exchange 2007 is a major revision. There are significant changes in the GUI tools and a new command line interface that uses Windows PowerShell to provide command line administration to parallel and complement the GUI tools.
