This is the first collection to be published of the superb fantasy art of Anne Sudworth, well known to gallery connoisseurs but rarely seen in print. In early sections of the book we are introduced to the artists, and the influences on her work.
The main parts of the book are devoted to a comprehensive gallery of her fantasy work, alongside a selection of studies and roughs, together with an incisive text by John Grant, and extensive and illuminating comments by the artist herself. In addition, there is an extended illustrated treatment of her techniques.
