For thousands of Kiwis, cruising on their motorcycles is not just a favourite pastime but an all-consuming passion. 'Easy Riders' celebrates the lives of about fifty New Zealanders who love their motorbikes and ride them as often as possible. Presented in a similar style and format to the classic 'Blokes and Sheds', this book profiles some of these men and women in words and photographs. The people shown in the book range in age from 10 to 93, and come from every part of New Zealand. They include a number of husband-and-wife partnerships, and several members of the popular Ulysses Club.
The range of bike styles is huge (Harleys, home-built originals, classic models from the twenties and thirties, trikes, etc), and technical specifications for every model accompany each profile. The superb black and white photographs are a mixture of studio and location shots.
