Drake Dramco is a dragonboy. Dragonfolk evolved from dragon animals to become two-legged creatures with fluffy hair, clipped wings, scaly backs, claw-like nails and long pink legs. Juniper, to whom Drake is very attracted, and who has her own problems with spontaneous fire-breathing, is his friend and supporter.
When Drake’s father is kidnapped, Drake, Juniper and Ronan – another dragonboy who is tougher than Drake – literally fly into an adventure in their quest to find him.
