Doom City: From Being a Nomad to a Being without a Place is the latest project by the award winning Spanish photographer Montserrat Soto, in which the artist challenges us with images, and installations with a clearly social and anthropological bent. In this book, co-published with Fundación ENAIRE, she stops time in architecture, inhabited and abandoned spaces, and she reflects on censorship and the artist's limits. For years, Soto has travelled around the world scanning the areas around cities and capturing moments that speak, creating works in which she slips her concern with ecology and memory.
