David Harris is a writer and adventurer who, against all odds, searched for and eventually discovered the ancient Roman city of Li-jien in far-west China. Always an adventurer, he has travelled the Silk Road and other parts of Asia and the Pacific.David's books include fiction for adults and young readers, histories, biographies, travel, text books, an illustrated book for children, and anthologies. He has taught children of all ages, lectured about writing in universities, was an Education Consultant in literacy, and gives talks and workshops in schools around Australia. His books include the travel history 'Black Horse Odyssey', the crime biography 'No Bed Of Roses', and the Asia-Pacific business biography 'High Tide'.
