The continent of Tencendor has been totally destroyed; but not everyone from that land is dead. StarDrifter SunSoar, father to Axis, survived the catastrophe and lives in Coroleas. The Star Gate, a mystical doorway controlled by StarDrifter and the other Enchanters of Tencendor, is no more.
The continent's destruction was greeted with amusement by some, and sadness by others. In a land far to the south, the news of Tencendor’s downfall gave rise to intense speculation. This land is Ashdod, a land with a mysterious past and home to Darkglass Mountain, an enigmatic ancient pyramid. The Mountain is rumoured to have been, long ago, a doorway through which the initiated could call anything they wanted ... power, the dead, riches, or learning. No one has been able to activate it in living memory; but after an encounter with Zoab, Tyrant of Ashdod, StarDrifter SunSoar resolves to resurrect Darkglass Mountain for himself...
