In the realm of the Dark-Hunters there is a code of honour that even immortal bad boys must follow. No human can be harmed. Yet every few centuries or so, there is always one who thinks himself above the Code
Alexion is the defender of the code that governs the immortals. He is judge, jury and executioner: if they step over the line it's his wrath they will face. For centuries Alexion has survived alone. Isolated and haunted by his human past, he has learned to distance himself from his emotions and his role ensures that even his fellow Dark-Hunters give him a wide berth.
However, this time the rogue Dark-Hunter is an old friend. Alexion cannot destroy him without at least allowing him one last chance at redemption. But to do this he needs the help of a female Dark-Hunter who goes by the name Danger. And the last time Alexion ran into her, she tried to kill him
Dark Hunter Series Part 1
I'll start by saying I've really enjoyed this series, so far. Just a few pages into the first book, and I was hooked. This series has a way of captivating the readers very quickly. If there was a single word to describe Sherrilyn's writing, it would be majestic. The adjectives used match the situation marvellously. The action scenes in this series are very entertaining. Each of the actions scenes are worded believeably, and always with just the right amount of humour thrown in. Another thing I adore, is that Sherrilyn does not create her characters perfectly in this series. They all have some sort of flaw, that makes the book that much more realistic, and a better read. Not all the women in it are described like models, and not all the men are otherworldly handsome, like most romances. It's something that would make readers, who have their own insecurities, feel more comfortable with the story, knowing the perfect woman isn't always with the perfect guy. Reviewed by Aimee D.

Dark Hunter Series Part 2
As with all book series', it does have it's downfalls. There are so many characters intertwined with each other's stories, it can honestly be hard to keep up with who's who, sometimes. In my case, I had to go back over the earlier books, whenever someone was mentioned in the story, who had not been as popular in the previous books. With all the characters you have to keep up with, it was actually pretty hard to remember some of them when they were later mentioned. Another downfall is that in the first few books, the main characters seem to be set, that each were getting their own story in the series. Then Sherrilyn introduced more main characters, writing stories for them, rather than the mains that were already present, much to some fans chagrin. Apart from those ups and downs, the Dark Hunter series really is a must read. As reviewed by Aimee Doumergue
