This yearbook brings together the year's most exciting and innovative projects by German architects in their own country and abroad. Since 1981 the German Architecture Museum has been recognizing the best architecture its country has to offer. Opening with the DAM-prizewinning project - the reconstruction and new building of Hambach Castle by Max Dudler - this yearbook also features a number of stunning buildings in the fields of residential, commercial, institutional, and public works.
