With a pleasing shape and an expressive nature, the dachshund is a popular companion. Be they standard, mini, or 'tweeny,' smooth, longhaired, or wirehaired, these pups have giant-sized courage-and an unending supply of affection. Fond of belly rubs and snacks, and stubborn when it comes to getting what they want, these little hounds will give 'The Look,' and their owners find themselves giving them anything they ask for-including one more treat.
The many people who love these dogs know it is impossible to sum up all of the wonderful qualities of this special breed. People owned by dachshunds are lucky people, indeed.
