Sarah Hinze has collected over two dozen stories from interviews with people who either remember their pre-birth existence or, more commonly, had pre-birth contact with their own children.
Sometimes the child would visit them in a dream or appear during the day playing with toys in the living room. Sometimes the mother would only feel a presence and know that she was now pregnant. And many mothers report hearing a voice, either of their child or another being, telling them they will give birth again. There are even cases of mothers being visited by a child that they would soon adopt.
As widely varied as these pre-birth experiences are, the parents always report feeling a sense of peace and joy that they will be welcoming a new life into the world. These stories are moving, inspiring and always surprising.
