In February 1945 HMS Venturer sank the U-Boat U-864 off the coast of Norway. U-Boat 864 was on its way to Japan, on the orders of Hitler, to deliver blueprints and parts for Germanys most advanced rocket and aircraft technology. Also in the U-Boat were a group of Japanese and German scientists whose work could have lengthened the war.
