When a little boy spends his first Christmas after his parent's separation with his Dad, on Dad's new farm, he's worried about what his Christmas will bring.
Will Father Christmas know where he is? Will Dad remember to give him a present - after all, there doesn't seem to be much evidence of the Christmas Spirit. What follows is a wonderful story about the real meaning of Christmas, as with a delightfully Kiwi flavour, a little boy learns how much both his parents love him, and that this will never change. He learns to look around him and discovers the sheer joy and delight of some special time with his dad, and learns that, ultimately, Christmas presents come in all shapes and sizes, and the best ones aren't always from the mall. And when your present is the whole sky full of stars, no wrapping paper would ever be big enough.
