When Earth is beyond repair, the only way forward is out. Todd Hewitt is one of the first group of people to inhabit this new far away land only to discover that the New World isn't the paradise they anticipated. In a world where the thoughts of men are seen and herd by everyone, you wouldn't expect so many secrets, but this book had me riveted at every turn by it's cleverly unfolding plot. It's a fast pace series perfect for those readers who crave adventure and excitingly unique ideas from the imaginative Patrick Ness. Your emotions will be in turmoil as he makes you constantly question what you thought you knew. A strong and interesting plot combined with strong and interesting characters makes for a wonderfully haunting series. My favourite book series, seriously, just read it. Reviewed by 05kt
