March 17 is a day when everyone, everywhere is an honorary Irishman. Everyone except IRA man Brian Flynn. Hailing from a province steeped in the heat and hatred of a brutal conflict, he brings his own agenda to the celebrations. For Brian has masterminded a brilliant terrorist act: the seizure of New York's St Patrick's Cathedral. Among his hostages, the woman he once loved.
The cops face a perfectly laid out killing zone inside the church from hell. The hostages face death. Flynn faces his own demons in an electrifying duel of nerves, honour and betrayal.
