There's a Reason He's King
This is a very, very good example of why Stephen King is one of the best-selling writers of all time. Carrie is an expertly woven story, which is saying something because it was one of King's first novels. I love a book where you can really engage with the characters, even if that means hating them. You will hate characters, love others and feel a desperate sympathy for others still. Read the book, then watch the film. Excellent.
