'There are two kinds of taxi drivers: the Spiders and the Flies . . .'

In his taxi Fly roams the city streets at Carnival time, carrying madmen, criminals, professors, prostitutes, magicians, clowns and lovers. His fares dictate where he goes, what he will find, and each has a story to tell, drawing Fly briefly into their lives, into whole worlds. But slowly Fly finds himself caught in the twisted goings on of Carnival, where the ordinary rules of existence do not apply. And someone is killing taxi drivers . . .
