When Captain Cat's whiskers start vibrating, it is a sure sign that extreme danger is around the corner. It is the height of summer, but the Massive Metropolis of Maxburg has been plunged into a winter wasteland by a super villain - the Snowman.
Captain Cat and the Umbrella Kid must battle with robotised flying refrigerators, mechanised polar bears and vampire penguins, as well as deal with heavy winter in the middle of summer. Of course, they win in the end, against all odds - but only after a great many puns and a lot of good-natured nonsense.
