Known as the "Bush Tucker Man" Les Hiddins brought the bush foods and medicines used by Aboriginal people to the public's attention with his popular ABC television series. The map is Hema's detailed topographic map of the area from Cairns to the Cape, with an inset of 'The Tip'. It has been checked by GPS so it features latitudes and longitudes for waypoints and a listing of the coordinates for the major destinations.
In addition, this map is printed on waterproof and tear-resistant synthetic paper to ensure it is even more durable in the tough Cape conditions.
