Melissa Furey’s life came to a complete disaster after leaving her husband in 2007 and returning back to her old life. She was on a very fast road to destruction after her abusive boyfriend tried to kill her when she went to leave him. But she made a choice to go back to God - and His plan for her life - after years of running from her pain and childhood wounds.
By the grace of God Melissa entered the Teen Challenge program in August 2007. This is where she received a second chance at life, and her marriage. In this dark place of Melissa’s life, God delivered her a promise of hope. He said: "If you give me all your broken pieces I will heal you. Your story will minister hope and healing to others.”
