In 1988, there was published a book called The Club (Constable/Pan). This was a portrait of the British Jewish Community including all its internecine wars, its dominance in the press and media and its businessmen (Gerald Ronson etc). Here is an entirely new and fresh book of the same nature but with far more insight into the psychology of modern Jews, their self-perception, their perception of the non Jewish world, and in turn the Jewish perception of the outsiders’ view.
