'Bride & Groom' is a captivating collection of wedding photographs from the past century that offers a magical perspective on fashions through the ages and a social history of Australia.
The book features more than 100 newly married couples, from a pensive '20s bride in lace-up satin-covered slippers and calf-length dress with her sombre new husband, to a nip-waisted, full-skirted '50s glamourpuss escorted by a Brylcreemed groom, to a mini-frocked '70s chick with two-tone platform sandals.
