Retro-punk Daz Croxley is profoundly dyslexic and perpetually unemployed. Society expects nothing of him - and he's been happy to oblige. But when he chances on a handful of stolen banknotes, he becomes the focus of attention from criminal gangs and police - all demanding information he doesn't have.

Daz's only hope is to play his pursuers off against each other in a deadly game of bluff and double-bluff. To survive, he must draw on all the strengths of his quirky, unconventional mind. And to find the missing information, he will need the help of friends like Patty, the aging misanthrope, and Kat, the claims advisor, whose sexy green eyes he can't stop thinking about. His greatest challenge, however, will be to change the way he views himself.
