The 82 photographs in this book artfully capture the sights and scenes on a journey through picturesque Brandywine Valley and adjacent areas, arguably one of the more historic and desirable places to visit and live in the country. They begin at the headwaters of famed Brandywine Creek among Amish farms in the Welsh Mountains of Chester County, Pennsylvania, and roughly follow its valley through farmland and woods, over green rolling hills, past mills, forges, and battlefields, by houses and farms, into Chadds Ford and the outskirts of Wilmington, Delaware.
